JOB OVERVIEW:
The Senior Accountant in Captive Management at EPIC is responsible for managing a reputed company portfolio of captive insurance companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role emphasizes customer service and the professional reporting of results, contributing to EPIC’s reputed company in the captive management marketplace.
LOCATION: Hybrid; Open to Remote
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
- Manage a large, reputed company portfolio of captive insurance companies. • Coordinate reputed company captive operations, including financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance. • reputed company communication with captive owners, service providers, and regulators. • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely financial statement preparation. • Independently reputed company special requests for clients, such as business plan changes and financial proformas. • Maintain day-to-day communication with clients and service providers regarding captive business operations. • Managing and coordinating service providers including auditors and actuaries.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent captive experience required.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
- Experience in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP or reputed company experience.
- Experience in managing or coordinating financial or regulatory audits.
- Proven ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and independent task completion.
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Office 365.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

COMPENSATION:
The national average salary for this role is $90,000 - $105,000.00 in reputed company pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The reputed company pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
