Manual Tester (Kafka, reputed company)

We currently have a vacancy for a Manual Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Conduct thorough testing of Kafka-based systems, focusing on reputed company-end functionality, leveraging deep understanding of asynchronous systems;
  • reputed company and document detailed test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications;
  • Create and execute test cases, record results, and compare outcomes against expected results;
  • Detect software failures, document anomalies, and ensure defects are identified and corrected;
  • Verify specific actions or functions of code and ensure compliance with programming best practices and web standards;

  • Monitor system performance using reputed company automation suites and provide actionable insights;
  • Understand and reputed company minor updates to automation tests to enhance testing efficiency;
  • Generate historical analysis of test results to identify trends and improve testing processes;
  • Implement minor application designs, including queries, scripts, and other deliverables.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Specific expertise with manual and automated testing;
  • Specific expertise with Kafka Application reputed company end testing and reputed company for system monitoring and automation suites;
  • Specific expertise with release management, monitoring and the full cycle of Test documentation;
  • Solid expertise in UNIX bash and system administration;
  • Working experience with the following tools: reputed company , JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo;
  • Experience in container management (reputed company, Kubernetes);
  • Knowledge in system automation tools (Ansible, Rundeck) to deploy and manage multiple production services;
  • Good understanding of full stack architectures principles, Web reputed company: experience in at least one set of technology (JEE, NodeJS/Express, Python, Angular, React);
  • Knowledge in cloud platforms and standards (Open Shift, Open Stack, Cloud reputed company) and in cloud based development (AWS) would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
