  • Design and build operational processes that protect businesses and users across Meta products.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to identify trends and implement solutions at scale.
  • Work with Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to identify and build tools that improve performance of our systems.
  • Anticipate and predict potential threats to operations and platform, design and build solutions to protect against these threats, and then implement and enforce these systems at scale.
  • Perform statistical modeling and statistical regression analysis to construct business patterns and trends.
  • Build dashboards using Tableau and SQL to present business insight.
  • Plan and manage complex projects from the initial ideation phase through final execution.
  • Proactively communicate regular updates, concerns, trends, and the impact of changes to all internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver measurement and reporting to quantify the impact of all launches, and monitor and analyze product and operational health metrics.
  • Drive internal and external process improvements, solve workflow problems, and ensure internal tools and automation systems are fully leveraged.
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree(Foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires five years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Dealing with complex, multi-faceted problems requiring creative and innovative solution development leveraging quantitative analysis and risk analysis
  • 2. Proficient to handle advanced analysis with large data sets in SQL and Excel
  • 3. PHP, Python, or Perl
  • 4. Building data pipelines
  • 5. Reporting systems, dynamic alerts, and data pipeline architecture
  • 6. Ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise concepts
  • 7. Ability to prioritize, re-prioritize, and handle multiple competing priorities
  • 8. Working with data visualization tools: Tableau or Unidash
  • 9. Ability to resolve and communicate issues with business presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 10. Solving problems using data and providing practical business insights
  • 11. Leading data-driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution
