Senior QA Engineer Consultant (REMOTE)

Job Description QA Mentor, Inc. is looking to fill Senior QA Engineer Consultant position (6 months contract) for one of our client. Phone screening interview is scheduled immediately for qualified candidates. The Senior QA Engineer's candidate should possess:
- Responsible for obtaining business requirements, functional specification and reputed company other reputed company documentation for functional, integration, compatibility, regression testing.
- Create test plans and test strategies documents.
- Create manual test cases and test scenarios.
- Understand how to work in Agile environments.
- Carry out detailed requirements analysis/static testing for assigned project.
- Create positive and negative test cases and test procedures with full traceability matrix.
- Participate in test cases peer review activities.
- Identify, record and re-test defects for responsible projects.
- reputed company daily Defect Review reputed company by other group members.
- Provide product improvements and recommendations to Product Management team by reporting them in Defect Management System.
- Work closely with Automation Engineer to identify best candidates for automation and provide health reputed company/reputed company test cases for automation.
- Responsible for execution different types of testing during System Acceptance Testing phase.
- Responsible for compatibility test cases execution.
- Participate in reputed company testing and finding defects during SAT cycle.
- Produce status reports to QA Manager on the weekly basis.
- Work closely with DEV, BA, Project mangers.
- Report defects and provide suggestions for application enhancements.
- Effective testing skills, proficient knowledge in test planning and execution.
- Good analytical skills and strong experience collaborating with development, product management and delivery teams throughout the SDLC.
- Organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects.
Education and Experience:
- 7-8 years of QA/Testing Experience
- SQL Knowledge and Database testing experience
- Agile Testing Experience is a must
- API and SQL Experience
- BS/BA (EE/CS) - Master’s degree preferred or equivalent
