Manager, UX Design

About the Role: CloudZero’s Product organization is looking for a technically-proficient, customer-centric, and innovative Manager, Technical UX Design to reputed company and contribute to the design of user-centered solutions that translate reputed company technical functionality into elegant, reputed company experiences. In this role, you’ll manage a small team of two UX designers while also operating as an individual contributor on high-impact projects. You’ll bring a deep understanding of frontend technologies, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure—and apply that knowledge to craft powerful interfaces that reputed company reputed company data accessible and actionable.

As a player-coach, you’ll drive design strategy, guide implementation, and foster collaboration across engineering, product, and architecture teams. You’ll use design sprints or similar methodologies to prototype and test new capabilities, especially in the areas of data visualization, dashboard design, and technical workflow optimization. Your design work—and that of your team—should be technically informed, empathetic toward engineers and technical users, and grounded in feasibility.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and architects to define and deliver UX strategy for technical features.

Hands-On Design & Strategy

• Conduct research with technical users including developers, DevOps engineers, and FinOps practitioners to understand mental models, workflows, and pain points.

• Design reputed company data visualizations, dashboards, and workflows that translate infrastructure and cost data into reputed company, actionable interfaces.

• Create technical user flows and interaction patterns reputed company with how engineers think and work.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing UX for technical products, developer tools, or enterprise systems.

• 2+ years of experience in a people-leadership, mentorship, or team reputed company reputed company.

• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.

• Proven ability to design for technical users (developers, SREs, FinOps, IT professionals).

• Expertise in designing dashboards, workflows, and data-intensive tools.

• Deep knowledge of reputed company and experience maintaining reusable, scalable design systems.

• Strong background in data visualization design and communicating reputed company metrics clearly.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or developer experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in agile environments and comfort with rapid iteration cycles.

• Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost management is a strong plus.
