Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and reputed company Senior Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and maintaining compliance with reputed company applicable regulations. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll issues, assist with audits, and contribute to reputed company process improvements. You’ll be expected to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle reputed company payroll scenarios.
ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing: reputed company the timely and accurate processing of payroll for reputed company employees, ensuring deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings are correctly calculated.
Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies. Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations affecting payroll.
Payroll Reports: Prepare and review payroll reports, including pay statements, tax filings, and other necessary documents for internal and external stakeholders.
Troubleshooting & Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely and effective manner. Provide guidance to employees on pay-reputed company questions.
Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, answering inquiries, and ensuring payroll data is accurate.
System Maintenance & Process Improvement: Work with HRIS and payroll software systems to ensure payroll data is accurate and processes are streamlined. Identify opportunities for system improvements and process enhancements.
Payroll Records & Documentation: Maintain confidential and accurate payroll records, including new hire paperwork, wage information, and employee deductions.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll with other HR systems and financial reporting.
Employee Training & Support: Assist in training junior payroll staff and provide ongoing support for payroll-reputed company questions or issues.
Year-End Processing: Manage year-end payroll processes, including the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms and other tax documents.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid to large-sized company.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in payroll software and MS reputed company. Familiarity with reputed company is a plus.
Knowledge of Payroll Regulations: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws, including tax withholding, benefits, and reporting requirements.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in payroll processing and issue resolution.
