HyperPlay is the game store from the future where players discover great games with rich web3 features, and developers find a censorship-resistant and developer-loyal distribution platform.

HyperPlay solves the largest user experience and infrastructure problems facing both the players and developers of web3-enabled games.

HyperPlay is built around MetaMask: the most interoperable, permissionless, and extensible wallet. HyperPlay extends these value propositions to the world of gaming through a rich in-game overlay with web3 features. Our in-game overlay implements seamless wallet transactions, quests, achievements, token swaps, marketplaces, and social community.

HyperPlay’s developer solutions are the easiest to adopt in the industry, from simple and optional wallet APIs to rich quest builders and smart contract factories. Game developers can interact with our APIs directly from Unity, Unreal, proprietary games engines, or window.ethereum for browser based games. Developers who prefer a no-code solution can leverage simple SDKs for both the Unreal and Unity game engines.

Unlike legacy game stores, HyperPlay aggregates other game stores like Epic Games and GOG bringing the largest library and game discovery to players.

The Role

We seek an energetic and highly proactive Head of Community who can engage and manage a community of passionate players and token holders. We are a hardworking group of game and blockchain enthusiasts, creating new censorship resistant game distribution channels. If you love games, creating long-lasting relationships with communities worldwide, and having a profound impact on the company and the Web3 gaming space, we are looking for you.

You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external service providers to manage our community. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key role at HyperPlay and make a lasting impact on our product suite and the Web3 gaming community.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all methods of community outreach, from strategy to execution (e.g., Discord, X, Telegram, and others).

• Cultivate, moderate, and manage social media and developer communities via channels such as Discord, Telegram, X, YouTube, Telegram, Reddit, and others.

• Organize our community members to create an ambassador network.

• Create community events on a regular cadence.

• Oversee content creation strategies to drive engagement.

• Share actionable insights from customer feedback internally to improve our products and services.

• Build hype for potential token launch events.

• Forward timely product, governance announcements, and news to our community.

• Find entertaining and creative ways to reward the most active members of our community.

• Develop community guidelines and moderation strategy to ensure community channels remain fun, respectful, and compliant.

• Working with external partners and agencies on content production and promotion.

• Be fully aware of emerging channels, trends, and global events, with the ability to react and respond in a timely and effective manner to social opportunities to drive engagement and brand awareness

Qualifications

• Experienced in leading a highly successful token launch, and experience in building a community around a token.

• Excellent communication and writing skills (English required, other languages a plus)

• A deep understanding of gaming and crypto users, including the overall international crypto landscape

• 3+ years in a management role in a blockchain/crypto/gaming community, with a track record of growing crypto communities.

• 5+ years experience managing social media channels, including developing content and managing a content strategy

• Experience developing creative content strategies and methods of engagement

• Experience working on marketing efforts around a web3/gaming project launch or since early-stages is highly preferred

• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure

• Powerful interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and a self-starter

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote, and remote-first global team

• Passion for gaming.

• Deep understanding of degen crypto culture.
