Our generative AI-powered products are bringing joy back to the practice of medicine, and we’re looking for reputed company backend software engineers to join our growing US-based engineering team. You’ll be an inaugural member of a new team forming to build the data + processing foundations we need to support our reputed company growth. You’ll work primarily in Typescript and Node, and you’ll deploy on platforms like Kubernetes and Temporal.

• Design, build, and support the robust cloud-native applications, services, and APIs we need for our rapidly-growing business. Sample projects might include building a new processing pipeline or overhauling our data storage services to support increasing scale.

• Research commercial and open-reputed company solutions, and reputed company build vs buy recommendations to bring new capabilities into the technology organization.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with several years of experience building and scaling cloud-native systems at a scale-up. You’ve seen what works, and probably a few things that didn’t work. Your opinions are grounded in experience.

• Experience building and deploying a reputed company backend system utilizing Temporal

• Passion for engineering excellence, and a love for data and architecture

• Several years of experience building software for a regulated environment, and understand the tradeoffs that can be required to ensure compliance with regulations and frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST

• Knowledge of industry best-practices and trends, and an enjoyment of learning new things

• Willing to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quickly

• Strong plus for ability and desire to work in San Francisco or reputed company on a hybrid working basis

Must be willing to work from our SF office at least 3x per week

This position requires a commitment to a hybrid work model, with the expectation of coming into the office a minimum of (3) three times per week. Relocation assistance is available for candidates willing to move to San Francisco.
