REQUISITION:
ORA-2252-04.021823LOCATION: Ft. reputed company, Maryland
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be providingOracledatabase administration support in a production environment.
• Eight (8+) years of experience administering to, and engineering solutions with MySQL andOracle’s database (10 – 12). Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
• Installing and configuring new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x)
• Upgrading MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions
• Administering MySQL account access, backups and table spaces
• Migrating MySQL databases
• Monitoring MySQL server performance
• Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery desired
• Experience with Streams / GoldenGate, DB reputed company, DB Guard and / or DB Vault,OracleEnterprise Manager Cloud Control, label reputed company, and data migration desired
• Occasional after hours call-in required on an as needed basis.

Designs and implements individual components of the reputed company products based on area of expertise.•
Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific reputed company product or technology.• Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
• Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and reputed company.
• Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in reputed company planning.
• Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
CERTIFICATION: CompTIA IAT, Level 2 Certified
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE:
•
Bachelor’s Degree + 8 years of database experience, OR• No Degree + 12 years of database experience.
NOTE: BS in CS or reputed company course of study, or equivalent year’s experience.
