Your role at Kittl

As our Finance Lead, you'll be the backbone of our financial health, overseeing everything from accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash handling to leading our monthly and yearly financial closings and audits. You'll drive our reporting and budgeting, ensure KPIs are controlled and communicated effectively, provide crucial legal support for contracts and challenges, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and use data analysis to continuously improve our processes. In this role, you’ll report directly to the CEO.

What you’ll do

• Finance Operations: Oversee everything from AP/AR to monthly and yearly closings, working closely with our Junior Finance Manager and external accountants and tax advisors across Germany, the US, and the UK

• Reporting: Prepare and communicate monthly management and investor reports

• KPI Tracking: Ensure consistent monitoring of key financial and non-financial business KPIs

• Legal Support: Guide teams on legal matters, including contract reviews and negotiations

• Data Analysis: Work with large data sets to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement

• Strategic Projects: Collaborate with the CEO Office on company-wide initiatives

What you’ll need

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in international SaaS finance roles

• Language: Fluent in German (C1+) and business-proficient in English (B2+)

• Efficiency: Highly reliable in both timing and output, with the ability to simplify complexity and deliver smart, fast results

• Accounting: Solid understanding of German HGB and US GAAP standards

• Nice to have

• Take-home assignment followed by a discussion with the hiring manager (60 min)

• Bar raiser interview with Chief of Staff, right hand to CEO (45 min)

• Meet & greet with the CEO (30 min)
