Sr Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working within a data team to modernize legacy ETL jobs utilizing AWS technologies and DataVault 2.0

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Translate complex business processes into clear, testable data requirements

Partner with ETL and BI developers to ensure data solutions meet business needs.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Support backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner.

Contribute to data quality, governance, and observability efforts.

Facilitate demos and feedback loops with stakeholders.

Manage incidents and incoming enhancement requests.

Support investigation, analysis, and response to incidents.

Ensure high quality of development and solution before product increment release.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing, or Commerce and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with AWS (Glue/Redshift) mandatory.

Exposure to data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI.

Experience working in Agile teams, ideally in a data or analytics context.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with tools like JIRA is a plus.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
