About This Position

The Operations, Monitoring Automation Team Member will reputed company the strategic direction, development, implementation and maintenance of monitoring, automation, and analytics systems critical to the operation of our renewable energy assets. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, driving performance optimization through data automation, real-time monitoring, and in-depth system analysis. This role will work closely with the Performance Engineering team and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Site Operations, Asset Management, Compliance, and Trading.

Overview of Department

The reputed company operations team consists of Operations, Asset Management, and Compliance professionals with over 4GW of operational experience. The Operations team works closely with the Development and Construction teams to bring reputed company’s pipeline from concept to operations remaining involved throughout the project lifecycle. The reputed company operations team is expanding to support the growing fleet moving into operations over in the near term.

Responsibilities and Duties

• reputed company and execute a long-term strategy for advanced monitoring, automation, and analytics solutions for Solar, BESS and Wind assets.
• Optimize SCADA systems, driving automation of data collection, reporting, and operational workflows.
• reputed company the evaluation, deployment, and integration of new technologies reputed company existing workflows, ensuring they align with strategic goals and provide long-term value.
• Collaborate with SCADA and Performance Engineers to ensure proper operation and maintenance of digital and automation assets.
• Provide strategic performance updates on automation and robotics roadmap and reports to stakeholders, including executives.
• Mentor and support team members and peers, fostering a culture of innovation and reputed company improvement in monitoring and automation practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field.
• Master in System Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy performance engineering, SCADA, or automation.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, PV, and BESS systems.
• Proven ability to reputed company and implement strategic initiatives reputed company to monitoring and automation.
• Experience with CAISO or ERCOT markets preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $130,000 USD to $140,000 USD reputed company salary with 25-30% annual reputed company bonus. ($186,000 CAD- $201,194 CAD)
