The Team and Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Firmware Technical Manager to join our Audio Cluster team reputed company Hardware Engineering, specializing in the development of Bluetooth mobile speaker products.

The Firmware Technical Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing firmware solutions for our state-of-the-art mobile speaker products. The expertise will be critical in ensuring the seamless integration of firmware with our innovative audio technologies.

• Implement and optimize firmware architectures and applications to deliver superior audio quality, and reliable connectivity.

• Participate in the product initial design phase, study technical feasibility and provide the product and design teams with design options and effectively communicate their associated tradeoffs.

• Plan the product development tasks, including risks and dependencies. Evaluate that workload and collaborate with the product manager and management to allocate resources to meet the business objectives and establish schedules.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of firmware designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices, and addressing compatibility across various platforms.

• Ensure the production starts according to plan committed at G1 by managing the embedded software development cycles and by supporting the hardware project milestones. Contribute to the project post launch activities (PCR, customer feedback OTA updates).

• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and standards in Bluetooth or USB audio, firmware engineering, and the headset industry.

Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to reputed company:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a reputed company field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in consumer electronics, audio products, or embedded software development.

• Proven expertise in Bluetooth technology, including developing and implementing profiles such as HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, and LE Audio reputed company services.

• Experience implementing audio streaming and rendering technologies, including Bluetooth, USB audio, I2S, Codec, and DSP, preferably reputed company consumer electronics applications.

• Excellent C programming skills and a strong understanding of electronic designs.

• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device drivers.

• Experience with battery management and power optimization in portable devices.

• Experience using BT sniffers, USB protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers.

• Strong experience with Git and Jira.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Demonstrated technical leadership and excellent teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Having the experiences on Airoha bluetooth platform or Auracast of LEA is a strong plus.
