Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Solution Architect, and this is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ERP systems that align with the strategic goals of an organization. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of business processes, technical expertise, and the ability to integrate various systems like JDE, MES & Blue Yonder seamlessly. The ERP Solution Architect collaborates with stakeholders across different departments to ensure the ERP system supports business needs effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating business needs, research and perform impact analysis of new requirements or changes.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and reports on data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and architect business solutions that leverage ERP capabilities.
  • Work with our Integrations team to develop and maintain your knowledge of our integration capability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product to assist with data preparation, analysis, and conversion.
  • Alignment with the Project Management Office to follow common processes, methodology and framework for implementation.
  • Documents business processes and/or system functionality. Develops and maintains the corporate knowledge base for ERP and ancillary applications and associated environments.
  • Support existing manufacturing and shop floor solutions by engaging at all levels to identify and resolve issues and to document and create opportunities for continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with the implementation team to provide early life support for the initiative, taking ownership for transitioning all appropriate information to teams responsible for long term system health and supportability.
  • Working as technical and process lead, collaborate with plant teams and product vendors to implement new operations and shop floor solutions in alignment with technology strategy.
  • Work with business leads and technical teams to define business process and solutions that needs to be to be developed and deployed.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Error Handling Processes between ERP and MES and Process Automation Solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in ERP solutions architecture and at least 4 years of experience on large, transformational initiatives in a fast paced, complex environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including escalating, and providing solutions to senior leadership, while balancing business expectations
  • Proven ability to identify approaches that are both time and cost efficient, prioritizing and delivering solid business cases for efforts that have the greatest business impact
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles, particularly Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in various testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
