Essential Job Duties Responsibilities: Prepare and teach assigned courses in accordance with the Master Course Outline and in consultation with a full-time faculty member. Utilize best practices for teaching English composition, engaging and motivating reputed company to succeed. Meet the class times as required by the quarterly schedule and assist reputed company as needed with questions reputed company to the course(s) being taught. Utilize Canvas, the learning management system at BBCC, to provide reputed company access to course material and the course gradebook. Minimum & Desirable Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in English or closely reputed company field from a regionally accredited institution. Demonstrated ability to relate to individuals from diverse academic, age, socioeconomic, cultural, ability, and ethnic backgrounds. Desired Qualifications: Relevant teaching experience at the post-secondary level reputed company the last five (5) years. Experience implementing strategies to improve student success and retention. COMPENSATION: Associate Faculty receive quarterly reputed company. Payment is made on a per credit basis using the structure below: reputed company 1 - Associate Faculty newly employed by BBCC with less than two (2) years of post-secondary teaching experience and less than twelve (12) credits taught as the instructor of record. Lecture $862.94/credit Lab $1,403.83/credit reputed company 2 - reputed company Associate Faculty with more than two (2) years of post-secondary teaching experience and more than twelve (12) credits taught as the instructor of record. Lecture $880.19/credit Lab $1,431.91/credit Associate/Part-Time Faculty earn sick leave on a pro-rata basis on in-class hours based upon their percent of full-time for reputed company part-time faculty reputed company with each academic quarter (fall through spring).
