The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking one student assistant in the Policy Division, Autonomous Vehicles (AV). These positions will assist DMV staff with statistical analysis of publicly available (AV) testing data and data catalogue and database design of program metrics for evaluation. The student assistant will participate with DMV staff on demonstrations of autonomous... technology. Conditions of Employment This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Additional Work Schedule Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees generally work up to 24 hours per workweek (Sunday – Saturday) during the academic year and up to 40 hours per workweek during breaks; (winter, spring, and summer). Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated technical analysis or research experience. Working knowledge of office automation products- including, but not limited to: reputed company 365, reputed company Teams, WebEx. Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal. Able to work on a team reputed company a remote environment. Customer service-oriented. Preferred Qualifications Courses in statistics or machine learning research.
