As a part-time member of our chat support team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers by providing them with exceptional service and immediate assistance through chat channels. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction while helping us uphold Target's commitment to quality and excellence. ### Key Responsibilities: - Customer Engagement: Handle and respond to customer inquiries via chat in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Ensure that customers feel valued and understood in every interaction. - Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Target's products and services to communicate effectively with customers, providing accurate information and solutions to their inquiries. - Problem Resolution: Work diligently to resolve customer issues by researching and utilizing internal resources, including product databases, policies, and other support materials. Strive for first-contact resolution wherever possible. - Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback from customers regarding their experience with the chat service. Provide insights and suggestions to improve service offerings and address common customer concerns. - Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to share knowledge and improve overall service efficiency. Foster a culture of teamwork and innovation. - Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to enhance your own skills and knowledge. Share new learnings with your peers to promote a culture of continuous improvement. - Performance Metrics: Monitor and meet performance metrics, including response times, resolution times, and customer satisfaction ratings. Consistently strive to exceed set expectations. ### Requirements: - Education and Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a chat support environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred. - Personality Traits: - Driven: A self-motivated individual who is focused on achieving and exceeding performance targets. - Hardworking: A dedicated professional who demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. - Soft Skills: - Leadership: Ability to demonstrate initiative and guide customers through their inquiries with a friendly demeanor. - Research: Strong aptitude for researching information quickly and accurately to provide appropriate solutions to customer inquiries. - Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely. Strong active listening skills to identify customer needs accurately. - Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of customer support software, live chat systems, and CRM tools is a plus.
