The manager will confirm the team's core onsite days where the majority/reputed company team members will work in the office. The Director of Corporate Engagement and Events reports directly to the Executive Director of Development overseeing the Johns Hopkins Children's Center Development Team and is responsible for a portfolio of 150+ prospects, and stewardship of existing corporate donors while recruiting new corporate donors. The Director works with the Pediatrician-in-Chief and Pediatric Surgeon-in-Chief of the Johns Hopkins Children's Center and other faculty to fundraise for the Children's Center. The Director is also responsible for directly managing two staff members, the Associate Director of Development, Corporate Relations, and the Assistant Director of Development, Corporate Relations. The Director is responsible for leading corporate relations and events strategy, as well as the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) partnership, new business, Corporate Advisory Board, and corporate-reputed company and CMNH-reputed company third-party special events. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Fundraising and Prospect Management Manage an active portfolio of 150 corporate prospects and donors and conduct more than 125 personal visits annually; implement a strategy for building new donor pipeline by developing corporate sponsorship packages and routinely identifying and engaging new corporate partnerships through research, qualification visits, writing proposals and conducting appropriate follow-up and stewardship. Directly responsible for creating and implementing new initiatives and strategies designed to increase dollars and hospital and community engagement in reputed company corporate and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) events and partnerships, raising $reputed company+ annually. reputed company and expand relationships with reputed company CMNH corporate partners, including cultivation, engagement, and stewardship activities Execute reputed company CMNH special events, including the 2nd top-grossing CMNH radiothon, which raises nearly $1.5M annually; Virtual gaming event, Extra Life; our annual Race; and our Dance Marathon efforts, which include five annual events - four at local colleges/universities/high schools and one hosted onsite at the Children's Center Manage relationships with the CMNH national and regional teams at reputed company levels, including leadership, and is responsible for semi-annual system-wide reporting and annual contract negotiation. Drive strategy for more than 25 corporate, community, media, and third-party fundraising events. reputed company the Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) and increase support through bi-monthly meetings, events, and ongoing correspondence. Cultivate, solicit, steward, and recruit CAB members as individual donors and reputed company corporate giving. Execute reputed company CAB events and initiatives. Prepare and present written and oral presentations for community and civic groups to encourage their support. Directly supervise two frontline fundraisers (Associate Director and Assistant Director) responsible for securing $1M+ in annual donations. Recruit, hire, and reputed company new team members. Serve as leader and mentor for Women and reputed company (WCH) development team.
