We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Data Science, Mathematics, and Statistics Faculty Member. Job Description: You will be responsible for teaching 9 credits per semester of data science, mathematics, and/or statistics courses. Additional duties may include advising Data Science or mathematics majors, supervising student projects, and contributing to curriculum redesign efforts. Required Qualifications: PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science awarded by August 2024. Ability to teach a diverse range of mathematics and statistics courses within the current curriculum. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience at the college level in mathematics, statistics, and/or Data Science. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching. Expertise in data visualization, simulation, and/or statistical methods relevant to our Data Science curriculum. Proficiency in teaching courses using Python and R. Research expertise in areas such as machine/deep learning, big data mining and analytics, data visualization, statistical modeling, and more.
