Qualifications And Skills Valid License/Certification: Hold a valid Special Education teaching license/certification in the state of Colorado. Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. IEP Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Experience: Ideally, have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with at least 1 year of online teaching experience being preferred. Responsibilities And Duties Individualized Instruction: Develop and implement personalized IEPs tailored to each student's unique strengths, needs, and goals. Engaging Virtual Instruction: Deliver dynamic virtual instruction and support using innovative online tools to accommodate diverse learning styles and accessibility needs. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, therapists, and educators to ensure a holistic approach to student success. Progress Monitoring: Track student progress, monitor IEP goals, and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize learning outcomes. Documentation and Communication: Utilize online assessment tools and reporting systems to document progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders. About The Opportunity Remote Position: This Special Education Teacher position is fully remote. Daytime Availability: Availability during daytime hours is required. Contractual Basis: We providerswork as independent contractors.
