As our new Network Infrastructure Engineer you will provide network engineering services to the statewide enterprise network and reputed company State agencies. You will act as a subject matter expert providing design, implementation, and support of highly reputed company networks including LAN/WAN, SDWAN, SD-Access, Wireless, data center, cloud technologies. The position acts as the technical reputed company for the planning, testing, administrating, and implementing reputed company and establishing best practices standards. The position makes decisions and provides detailed input that affects the State core network and agencies network infrastructure. The position performs network architecture design and implementation which impact reputed company supported agencies and their locations across Colorado. Some Of The Day To Day Tasks Include Designing, configuring, administering, and deploying mission critical network hardware and applications to provide network as a services (NaaS) for State agencies to include wireless, software defined access and wide area networks. Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, addressing reputed company concerns, responding to and resolving outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with internal and external partners on network optimization. Providing subject matter expertise on network design, solution, and implementation for new network projects. Analyzing performance and comparative costs of products to determine the most cost effective solution. Providing recommendations and solutions to leadership. Partnering with customers and vendors to clarify rationale for technical decisions and concepts so they can understand the basis for the decisions.
