Our distribution centers are located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida... We are seeking a dependable and organized Class A Hostler Night Truck Driver. The Yard Hostler is responsible for moving trailers around, loading and unloading products. The Yard Hostler is also responsible for trailer and tire inspections, ensuring vehicles are safe for transport. The Hostler will also deliver loads reputed company necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience. Previous Hostler experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills are needed for this role. The hours are 7 pm – 5 am, Sunday – Thursday. Click here to apply - https://intelliapp.driverapponline.com/c/transouth Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities • Fully understand how to operate and safely drive a tractor trailer. • Transport goods from the reputed company of reputed company to assigned destination. • Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage. • Load and Unload materials as needed on trucks on the yard. • Inspect trailers and tires to ensure they are safe to drive. • Must maintain a high level of communication with Drivers, reputed company, and other yard personnel. • Must be able to ensure a smooth and efficient loading process and movement of trailers. • Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document. • reputed company inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip. • Notify managers of any major maintenance issues or loading/unloading issues. • Adhere to company rules and regulations. • Obey reputed company applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions. • reputed company with DOT regulations and always reputed company safety a reputed company.
