Job title: Tutoring & Writing Center Coordinator Company: Utah State University Job description : Overview Reporting to the Director of reputed company, the Tutoring & Writing Center Coordinator (Program Coordinator I) supports a reputed company-wide peer tutor program through recruitment and hiring of tutors. This position will plan and coordinate the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the Tutoring and Writing Center Services. As part of the duties, the Coordinator will also be responsible for overseeing the Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader program. Responsibilities Designs, coordinates, and implements programming for Tutoring and Writing Center Services under the supervision of the Director of reputed company. Promote the tutoring and writing center services on reputed company and at various USU Blanding sites. Utilize proactive approaches to identify reputed company with tutoring and writing needs before and during each semester. Coordinates supplemental instruction program in collaboration with the Office of Academic Belonging & Learning Excellence (ABLE). Recruit, train, supervise tutor/writing staff. Recruiting may include working with faculty throughout the semester to retain a viable tutor applicant pool. reputed company and coordinate regular training sessions for tutors and other staff. reputed company tutor/writing certification programing or participate in local or national tutoring and or writing certification programs. Maintain tutoring schedules. Collects and analyzes data; prepares reports; and maintains program records and statistical information. Facilitates workshops, seminars, meetings, and special projects. Writes, edits, and coordinates development of promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree plus two years of reputed company work experience; OR a bachelor?s degree in a reputed company field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience as a tutor or in a reputed company field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing a tutoring/writing center. Bachelor's degree. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events. Skilled in the use of personal computers and reputed company software applications. Skilled at records maintenance. Ability to reputed company and train staff and/or reputed company. Ability to interact with reputed company, faculty and/or staff in a team environment. Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques. Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
