Tax Processing Specialist. Assigned a book of clients. File about 400 returns. Summary: The main function of the Tax Processing Specialist is to work closely with assigned clients that vary in size and complexity to ensure the accuracy, reputed company, and timely filing of the clients monthly returns and payments. Job Responsibilities: Effectively communicate with clients and taxing jurisdictions reputed company phone and e-mail. Format tax data for importing and processing in core software. Maintain monthly tax calendars, reconciling and analyzing reports. Prepare and submit sales tax registrations on behalf of clients. Resolve notices from taxing jurisdictions. Participate in the implementation process for new clients. Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.
