The initial appointment period for this position is two semesters with the possibility of extension for a total of three years; the position is renewable thereafter in three-year increments. Applications are sought from candidates with demonstrated evidence of outstanding teaching in the following areas: human anatomy, human physiology, and exercise physiology. Candidates with a PhD and 6+ years of relevant collegiate teaching experience may be considered at the rank of Associate Professor of Instruction. Regular participation in discipline-appropriate professional societies and/or experience with other types of undergraduate science education initiatives.
