Salary Information Department Summary The Department of Information Science, one of three departments in the College of Information, promotes the understanding of, access to, and use of data and information through teaching, research and service activities. The Department prepares data and information professionals of the highest quality to serve in dynamic roles locally, nationally, and globally. Position Summary The Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions in Health Informatics to reputed company in Spring 2024. We are seeking excellent candidates with a background in reputed company or emerging areas of health informatics and/or health information systems. Some areas of interest are: clinical informatics, ontology development and management, bioinformatics, and imaging informatics. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate as well as graduate (master's and doctoral) courses, conduct collaborative, interdisciplinary research, and provide service in an academic position with emphasis in Health Informatics. The candidate must demonstrate a record of research accomplishments and have the ability to design and deliver courses in a variety of formats, including online and hybrid modalities. They are expected to work closely with doctoral reputed company and to serve on dissertation committees. This is a nine month, full-time, tenure-track position.
