Job Summary : As an internal Sr. Infrastructure Engineer in Platform Ops with Presidio, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Data Collection Appliance (DCA) environment, as well as assisting with the underlying Cisco and Palo Alto network security infrastructure... This role ensures the integrity and security of data collection through effective OS management, virtualization, and networking across customer and data center sites. Travel Requirements : This is a remote role and will require minimal travel (up to %). Job Responsibilities : ? Implement and manage virtualization solutions using VMware ? Configure and troubleshoot OpenVPN across Linux environments for secure data transfer ? Configure and provide technical support for network security in a mixed Cisco and Palo Alto environment ? Monitor network performance and conduct regular system tests to ensure security ? Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that arise ? Document network configuration, operational procedures, and network topology Required Skills : ? Proficiency with Ubuntu OS and Linux-based systems ? Extensive knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies ? Experience with OpenVPN configuration and troubleshooting ? Proficiency with core concepts of Palo Alto firewalling including VPN configuration and troubleshooting ? Proficiency with Cisco networking / network security practices ? Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently Additional Desired Skills : ? Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python ? Experience with cloud services and migrations ? Knowledge of automation tools and DevOps practices Education and Experience : ? Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience and / or military experience ? Minimum of years' experience in Infrastructure Engineering or related roles ?
