Position Description: The successful candidate will teach assigned classes at the undergraduate level in beginning to advanced levels of acting practice and coordinate intimacy staging, as needed, in production and classes. In addition, the successful applicant would have secondary areas of expertise in two or more of the following: audition techniques/career preparation, stage combat, acting for the camera, movement for the stage, integrated voice and movement, voice and speech, or directing. Ongoing scholarly/creative/professional activity will be expected and supported. In addition to intimacy coordination, opportunities may exist for the candidate to contribute as a stage director in the production season.
