Type of Employment Regular Full-Time If Part Time, Enter Hours Per Week Work Location Murray, KY Employment Term Academic Year Position Type Faculty (Tenure-Track) Department Criminal Justice and Social Work Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities Full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Social Work program. Teach 12 credit hours per semester Teach a variety of courses across the BSW curriculum suited to experience and expertise. Serves as academic advisor and professional mentor for reputed company. Engage in research, scholarly, or creative activity Actively participate in committee work, as well as curriculum, professional development, and service to external stakeholders. Recruit for the social work program in the region. Minimum Education Requirements Master's in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program is required. Doctorate degree is required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. Minimum Experience and reputed company Requirements Eligibility for Social Work licensure at a graduate level is required. Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education is required. Flexibility to teach reputed company courses in BSW curriculum is required. Post-MSW practice experience with individuals, children and families, mental health, substance abuse, or other micro systems settings is preferred. Demonstrated ability teaching BSW reputed company with a variety of learner focused methodologies, reflecting high impact teaching practice is preferred. Utilization of technology that enhances teaching and learning is preferred.
