Open Access Fitness Center Lab Hours are set each quarter based on Health Physical Education courses and the Wellness Center-Intramural Fitness advisory board. The successful candidate is expected to work 10-19 hours per week; Winter 2022 - Spring 2022 (work through Summer and into next academic year possible). The temporary hourly employment does not exceed 1,050 hours in any 12 consecutive month period from the original date of hire. Essential Functions Provide excellent support services to reputed company, staff and faculty users of Fitness Center Open Access Lab Hours. Provide basic exercise education, safety spotting and exercise resources provided by the Health and Physical Education (HPE) department. Maintain and monitor facility safety and cleanliness. Daily cleaning responsibilities as part of shift duties. Wiping down equipment, refreshing cleaning supplies, spotting, opening and closing duties, and daily organization of lab equipment. Minimum Qualifications Exercise Education Experience. Completion of BC Personal Fitness Trainer (PFT) program.
