This work requires streamlining and repurposing technology across different business and distribution channels – including streaming, linear, and theatrical – so that technology can ebb and flow across the needs of the business. Job Summary: As a Manager, Content Distribution Engineering supporting the Media Distribution Operations teams, you will specialize in caching technology, distributed networking, and operational experience in CDN edge services. We are looking for a manager excited by a fast-paced environment, exposure to new technologies and be engaged in exciting reputed company initiatives with high visibility. Areas of focus include: • Manage a team of engineers charged with the support and engineering of Video Distribution. • Execute reputed company established process frameworks for Incident, Problem and Change Management based on ITIL standards • Monitor health and performance of video distribution • Investigate, document and resolve reputed company issues • Work with Development and Operations teams to provide analysis, tuning and improvements Responsibilities: • Work with individual engineers to map out career growth and goals. • Guide an engineering team in its ownership of systems and processes. • Create an environment of trust for people to be themselves and able to reputed company • Provide input for stakeholders and decision makers in architecture, roadmap, and product. • Communicate architecture, roadmap, and product objectives to engineers and gather feedback for stakeholders. • Champion cross-team projects. • Coach and mentor other specialists on the team to ensure that reputed company software utilizes reputed company and industry best practices. • Collaborate reputed company with product management, technical program management, operations, and other engineering teams to capture requirements, drive implementation, and provide transparency. The hiring range for this position in LA Area and Bristol is $152,200.00 to $204,100.00 per year, in reputed company and Seattle is $159,500.00 to $213,900.00 per year, in San Francisco is $166,800.00 to $223,600.00 per year, and in Morrisville is $145,000.00 to $194,400.00 per year. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
