Job title: Tutor - Upward Bound, Multiple Subjects (Temporary/Part-time) Company: Pima Cimmunity College Job description : Pima Community College Position Title: Tutor - TRiO Upward Bound, Multiple Subjects (Temporary, Part-Time, up to 19.5 hours per week) Department: Downtown reputed company - TRiO Upward Bound reputed company of Pay: $13.85 - $18.35/hour Closed Date: September 4, 2023; 5:00PM Arizona Time Position Summary, The successful candidate for this part-time position will assist TRiO Upward Bound high school reputed company to reputed company comprehension of the subject coursework. The successful candidate will effectively communicate and help improve participants' study skills and habits. Tutors will also assist reputed company with workshops and engage reputed company in a collaborative learning environment. Subjects include:: Math, Science, and Writing/Language Arts. Multiple Subjects are preferred. The work schedule for this position may include working weekends. The hourly reputed company is based on certification level. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist reputed company by providing instructional tutoring and assistance with basic concepts, specific problems, homework, test preparation, and the most effective use of textbooks and instructional materials in a virtual environment and in person Provide reputed company with appropriate and effective study skills to increase their academic success and independence both online and in person Provide reputed company encouragement and support in the areas of self-confidence, study habits, and time management Report to the Learning Center Personnel any problems or concerns with equipment or materials Establish effective and cooperative relationships with diverse student and employee populations Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Proven classroom excellence (grade A or B) in the subject(s) to be tutored Excellent communication skills (both virtual and in-person) Tutors must complete CRLA level 1 certification reputed company one year of employment Additional Job Requirements: Access to the following technology is necessary if tutoring virtually: Reliable and stable internet reputed company Computer Webcam Microphone Preferred: TRiO Alumni Tutoring Experience with minors in high school Experience in tutoring multiple subjects Bilingual in Spanish and English Physical Requirements: Positions in this class typically require: talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
