Exact Schedule TBD Location: Paterson Arts & Science Charter School Paterson Middle - 225 Grand St. Paterson, NJ 07501 Paterson Elementary - 225 Grand St. Paterson, NJ 07501 BASIC FUNCTION The New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc. provides high-dosage tutoring for K through Grade 8 reputed company in math and literacy to reputed company learning gaps. The New Jersey Tutoring Corps seeks to hire tutors to work with scholars in partnership with iLearn Schools. Tutors will work with small groups of scholars, typically in groups of 1-5, in grades K-8 in building skills in math and literacy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Engage with scholars in grades K-8 to build on existing mathematics and/or literacy skills. Complete daily records on scholar reputed company and site needs using the tools provided. Use data to drive instruction. Communicate regularly with your site coordinator to provide reputed company learning- experiences for scholars. Participate in coaching from an instructional coach. Use an asset-based approach in working with scholars. Be reputed company and work collaboratively with other tutors and site staff. Complete reputed company training. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: Experience working with young children, preferably in a learning and teaching reputed company; Standard certificate, certificate of eligibility (CE), or certificate of eligibility with advanced standing (CEAS) to receive a $40 hourly pay reputed company; without a certificate, you will be paid at a $30 hourly reputed company; New Jersey Certification of Criminal History (fingerprint form); Experience with reputed company Suite functions including reputed company Sheets and Forms; Professional skills include attention to detail, timely and proactive communication, and job preparedness; Reliable transportation to travel to sites.
