Position Overview: Do you have experience with Splunk? Our cyber security group has a great opportunity for someone to bring their passion, dedication, and expertise to support the event management team! You will be a part of the engineering efforts to craft, build and maintain new Splunk SaaS platform and expand log collection across a large hybrid environment. Our Impact: Our team is responsible for ensuring vital events are logged and collected centrally in the SIEM. These include on-prem and cloud infrastructure, applications, databases, endpoints, SaaS systems, and others! Your Impact: Guide Splunk Deployments, data collection best practices and lead and troubleshoot Splunk Enterprise environment, including SaaS and cloud infrastructure. Qualifications: • 2-4 years... hands-on experience administering enterprise security tools • 2+ years of experience with deploying, configuring, and performing functional testing and data validation in a Splunk environment • Experience designing and implementing Splunk installations from the ground up, including all various server roles (Search Head, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders and Universal Forwarders, etc.) • Must have sophisticated knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, and cloud technologies • Preferred certifications: Splunk Certified, CISSP, AWS/GCP/Azure Keys to Success in this Role: • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Self-driven • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently, as well as on a team of individuals with a variety of skills and backgrounds • Innovative in providing solutions and loves new challenges • Detail oriented Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $88,000 - $132,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
