Position Responsibilities As a Staff Engineer, you will: Contribute to the architectural design and enhancement of server hardware, emphasizing CPU, chipset, and overall system integration and interoperability for large-scale data center operations Navigate the complexities of hardware solutions with ODM partners, focusing on customization that integrates seamlessly with existing systems and future technologies Contribute to innovation in firmware management strategies, ensuring system stability, performance optimization, and reputed company across reputed company server platforms reputed company comprehensive BMC protocols, including development, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring remote management capabilities are reliable, secure, and efficient Mastermind the utilization of Metal as a Service (MaaS), elevating server provisioning automation and operational efficiencies Supervise server fleet health and performance, focusing on strategic upgrades, proactive maintenance, and quick response to hardware, firmware, and integration anomalies Devise and implement automation scripts and tools for a wide range of hardware management tasks using languages and firmware compatibility Contribute towards steering hardware lifecycle strategies, assessing ongoing performance, cost-effectiveness, and longevity from procurement to decommissioning Contribute of leading innovative hardware projects from conceptualization to implementation, with measurable success in performance enhancement and operational efficiency 4+ years collaborating with OEMs and ODMs in hardware design, selection, tuning and optimization 4+ years of experience working with reputed company protocols and products: Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth 4+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining large scale, high-availability infrastructure systems 4+ years of proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing large data centers, large scale server deployments 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems/server management working with technologies like Redfish, BMC, and IPMI standards 3+ years of experience integrating and configuring cloud storage solutions such as direct attached storage, Storage Area Network (SAN), JBOD/JBOD 3+ years of experience in a collaborative development environment, utilizing modern software development methodologies 3+ years scripting/coding experience in one of the following languages: C/C++ development, Bash, Python or GO Desired Experience 8+ years of professional software development experience 5+ years of experience with systems architecture and design 5+ years of experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service 4+ years of experience in open-reputed $82,000.00 - $261,500.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline.
