The Organization

We are representing a dynamic service enterprise that manages hundreds of collaborative workspace facilities throughout North America. This organization is experiencing remarkable expansion with plans to launch 600+ new sites this year and an ambitious 1,000-1,500 locations targeted for the following year. Despite its significant scale, the company maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and operates within a results-driven, sales-focused environment characterized by rapid 30-day business cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop high-performing teams
  • Work closely with current CEO to prepare for potential succession
  • Drive operational excellence and financial performance across multiple locations
  • Initially manage Chicago market operations, gaining deep understanding of the business model and operations
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives
  • Transition to overseeing regional operations across multiple states

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Analytical skills with ability to make quick, data-driven decisions
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Aspiration for C-suite/CEO position within 2-3 years
  • Proven experience managing multi-business units or multiple locations
  • Hands-on leadership style with willingness to "roll up sleeves"
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated business leadership
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to drive revenue growth
  • Resilience and "thick skin" to thrive in a direct, results-oriented culture

Preferred Background

  • Background managing construction projects or new location openings a plus
  • Experience in service-oriented industries
  • Multi-site management expertise (retail, hospitality, etc.)

Benefits

Location: Remote (Chicago-based)

Comprehensive compensation structure featuring:

  • Annual base salary: $300,000-$350,000
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity of 50%
  • Long-term equity incentive program
