Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – School-Based Contract Opportunity (Morton, PA) Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a full-time, school-based contract role in Morton, Pennsylvania. Minimum Requirements (Per Pennsylvania State Regulations):
- Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass all required background checks, including:
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- PA Criminal History Check
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- School-based nursing experience or pediatric care experience preferred
- Experience supporting students with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable
Typical Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and health management to students
- Administer prescribed medications and perform medical procedures per student health plans
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or seizure disorders
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of care and communication with families and school staff
- Collaborate with school teams, teachers, and families to support the health and safety of students
