Summer season starts May 22 and ends September 30, 2023 HOUSEMAN Make a meaningful impact as a Houseman at Moonlight Basin houseman, you will help ensure proper loading, set-up, clean-up, and teardown of all events. The Houseman will assist with the packing of event items, loading & unloading the truck, set-up/clean/teardown of all events, including in some cases dishwashing or other cleaning of equipment, venue, etc., and transporting equipment around property. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist with venue room set-ups such as tables, chairs, AV equipment, buffet lines, etc.
- Utilize the pack list and Banquet Events Orders (BEOs) to accurately pull, pack, and transport the correct equi9pment to our various venues and locations on property.
- Attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly.
- Maintain strict control over all company owned equipment. Cleaning and storing all equipment in secure and correct manor.
- Operate box truck with hydraulic lift gate to transport event equipment around property.
- Act as a kitchen steward to wash dishes and handle cleaning tasks in the kitchen as needed.
- Communicate any maintenance issues to management including banquet equipment repairs or safety issues.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives.
- Project a favorable image of the company to the public.
- Other dutie3s as assigned by management.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent people skills
- Guest recovery skills
- Must comply with Moonlight Basin’s dress and grooming policies.
- Must be available to work all shifts, specifically nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance.
