The Principal Architect - Modern Platforms Virtualization role combines technical ability and experience with polished communication and leadership skills to guide a team to deploy VMware solutions platforms. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Modern Platforms Virtualization.Travel Requirements:In this role you will be expected to travel up to 5%. This is a work-from-home role with the option to use local reputed company office (if available).Responsibilities Include:

• Provide technical leadership reputed company a team of engineers on client projects and on-going professional services engagements.
• Design and implement a VMware solutions for clients.
• Deliver VMware workshops for customers.

• Assist in training and mentoring other engineers in the adoption of new technologies.

• Leading conversations and white boarding sessions in reputed company of clients and/or peers.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Expertise configuring and troubleshooting VMware Cloud Foundation suite of products.
• Significant experience migrating data center workloads reputed company VMware (P2V, vMotion, HCX, etc)
• Expertise designing and implementing reputed company VMware data center solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience

• 10+ years of advanced working VMware knowledge and experience working with data center and workload migrations.
• 5+ years of work experience in developing workload migration plans

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation products (VCP preferred but not required)
• Technical certifications strongly desired.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to physically lift and install equipment.

• Experience with DHCP, DNS and general network troubleshooting.
• Experience with general backup and disaster recovery technologies.
