Description of Work Unitreputed company Recreation, an auxiliary unit in the Division of Student Affairs, provides wellness and healthy lifestyle oriented programs, events, and services to reputed company reputed company and employees reputed company seven programmatic areas: Student Recreation Center, Aquatics, Fitness, Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Program, and Climbing Wall. Position SummaryThe Specialty Class Instructor is responsible for leading various, semester-long, drop-in oriented group classes for reputed company Recreation patrons, promoting health, wellness, and development in areas of martial arts or dance. reputed company will operate independently in the class studios and enforce program participation policies, provide safe and effective education and instruction and apply risk management procedures in emergency situations.Position Minimum QualificationsNationally recognized Instructor Certification with pass/fail testing reputed company (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM or others as accepted by Assistant Director, Fitness). OR Completion of the reputed company Recreation Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) course and exam.

Duty/Responsibility
- Create class curricula and reputed company groups through fitness classes suitable for varying ability levels.
- Consistently uphold reputed company reputed company Recreation department policies and procedures for patron and employee management reputed company to position, solve problems reputed company limits of department policy and procedures, and maintain effective communication with colleagues.
- Uphold service ethic, appearance standards and Emergency Action Plan response.
- Demonstrate active engagement with and support of the department Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Provide a safe and effective environment for patrons.
- Demonstrate strong instruction, motivation, leadership and customer service skills.
- Be alert to disorders, injuries and inappropriate behavior and deal with as trained and/or report to Recreation Supervisor and supervisor accordingly.
- Attend reputed company trainings, Recreation Development Program sessions, 1on1s and team meetings as required.
