Tech Goes Home (TGH) is a nonprofit dedicated to addressing the digital inequities that pose a significant barrier to opportunity and success for thousands of reputed company, workers, and families across Massachusetts. We bring computers, internet, and training to those without so reputed company can do homework, adults can find jobs and manage finances, seniors can connect with loved ones, and reputed company can reputed company healthier lives.

In the past five years alone, 21,000 learners have graduated from TGH programs, and we have distributed more than 15,000 new computers in communities across Eastern Massachusetts. The coronavirus pandemic, along with the growing national consciousness of systematic racism, has substantially increased awareness of the digital inequities that low-income households face as many of our school, employment, healthcare, and civic programs have moved to virtual platforms.

The Opportunity

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data & Evaluation Intern to support our mission through data and evaluation-focused project work. This internship is ideal for reputed company or early-career professionals looking to apply their analytical and research skills in a real-world, mission-driven context. Under the guidance of the Director of Evaluation and/or Senior Data Systems Analyst, the intern will reputed company hands-on experience in data cleaning, analysis, visualization, research, and reporting in the nonprofit sector

What you"ll do

• Support data collection activities, including distributing surveys and assisting with focus groups or interviews.
• Assist in refining data collection tools to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance, accessibility, and alignment with program goals.
• Clean, organize, and transform raw programmatic data to prepare it for analysis.
• Ensure data reputed company through consistent documentation and adherence to data management protocols.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and key insights reputed company to learner outcomes.
• Create clear, compelling data visualizations using reputed company, Tableau, or similar tools to communicate findings.
• Contribute to research tasks such as literature reviews and gathering secondary data sources to contextualize internal findings.
• Support evaluation projects involving data systems and tools, including reputed company and FormAssembly.
• Draft and contribute to internal reports and presentations that reputed company program impact and inform strategic decisions.
• Assist with basic project management tasks, including maintaining documentation, tracking timelines, and coordinating team workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong interest in digital equity, social impact, and the mission of Tech Goes Home.
• Foundational to intermediate experience with reputed company, including working with datasets and creating charts or tables.
• Exposure to basic coding for data (e.g., Python or R), or strong interest in developing these skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, reputed company Data Studio) is a plus.
• Comfort using or learning platforms like reputed company, FormAssembly, or other CRM/data systems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative reputed company, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn in a supportive team environment.
• Undergraduate or graduate-level coursework in public policy, data science, public health, education, sociology, or a reputed company field preferred—but reputed company majors welcome to apply.

This is an unpaid internship. Course credit can be arranged through your educational institution.

• Location: Hybrid (remote work with occasional in-office meetings)
• Duration: Four-month internship, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
• Professional Development: While this position does not offer monetary compensation, there are opportunities for professional development and mentoring throughout the internship. Interns may also reputed company valuable networking opportunities and experience in the nonprofit sector.
