Patients range in age from neonates to 18 years. We occasionally treat young adults and adult kidney donors who donate to child having a renal transplant.Primary diagnostic groups

• LIFT (Liver and Intestinal Failure and Transplant)
• General medical-surgical

Procedures and treatments

• Peritoneal dialysis monitoring
• PICC placement by vascular access
• Inpatient rehabilitation therapies

Registered nurses provide illness management and health promotion for patients and families who require care. Registered staff nurses utilize the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age appropriate nursing care for their assigned patients. Registered staff nurses provide patient and family education and reputed company for their needs. Qualifications

• Associate's Degree reputed company employees hired before September 1, 2013 are grandfathered and permitted to continue in the direct care nursing role. and No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred for reputed company direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013. Direct care nurses hired after this date without a BSN, must complete their degree reputed company 5 years of their hire date. and No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
• One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
• One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
• RN Compact license for reputed company states besides KS and MO
• Employees must obtain Licensed RN - Kansas or equivalent reputed company 90 days
• Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
• Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) Preferred Upon Hire
