This position reports directly to the CEO, is a hybrid office / field role and will be in office approximately 2 days a week.What you'll do
  • Establish, build and nurture relationships with our Dealer Partners, Dealer Groups, and OEM's.
  • Thoughtfully learn about our Partners needs and communicate our value propositions, USP's and experience via consultation. In person and virtually.
  • Manage pipeline opportunities in CRM (Hubspot), report with management, collaborate with Marketing and Success.
  • A cornerstone role that will act as player / coach, establishing the playbook to lead future Regional Directors.
  • Partner with our C-Suite, Success team, Marketing for GTM strategy focused on new client acquisition and provide Product feedback.
Key Components for Success:
  • Lead with Ownership: You'll own the Partnerships vertical. Drive growth through effective sales practices to acquire new business, addressing dealership change management as well as Software and offering Support.
  • Innovate Boldly: Help shape the auto industry by enabling dealerships to change the way cars are serviced. You'll influence change directly with dealers, but also throughout the industry.
  • Stay Curious: Dive into customer needs and work across teams to drive retention and growth among our dealership partners by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.
  • Resourceful: We're proud to be a start up that's the category creator, we accept the challenge of “getting stuff done”.
  • Be a Culture Add: Bring fun, energy, and collaboration to the table. Mentor teammates, champion best practices, and inspire innovation.
  • Know Our Customer: Travel (~60%) to meet customers, gain firsthand insights into their challenges to help build solutions that truly address their needs.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years experience selling software or platform services in the retail automotive space, dealerships, OEM's.
  • A keen understanding of the Franchised Dealership world. OEMs, OEM field responsibilities and dealer / group motivations.
  • Understanding of the various Dealership tools, platforms and software.
  • High level of comfort with digital technology solutions
  • Startup/early-stage company experience a plus
  • Strong oral, written & digital communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Adaptability to embrace the fast-paced dealership technology environment.
Bonus Points:
  • Strong understanding of dealership technology systems (Xtime, Tekion, DealerTrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc).
  • Expertise on Zoom, Slack, Google-Suite but happy to take a regular old phone call.
  • Being based in the LA, SoCal Area, or willing to relocate.
