This is accomplished by ensuring our records are traceable, reputed company and complete; developing a clear understanding of codes and standards; understanding asset condition and performance data; and leveraging technology to improve the health of our assets.The Pipeline Services Department oversees the technical services function, a field-based organization that reinforces the concept of asset ownership and promotes healthy collaboration with operations. Specifically, Pipeline Services provides pipeline and some station asset maintenance engineering services to support the Gas Operation organization.Position SummaryPerforms asset management and engineering work in support of transmission operations production, construction and/or maintenance functions reputed company Gas Operations. Expectation to be self-directed and proactive to ensure the timely, thorough, and accurate completion of engineering services, work and projects. Performs project management and on-call responsibilities as required. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be reputed company towards the middle or entry reputed company of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis reputed company to these factors.​A reasonable salary range is:​California Minimum:$122,000California Maximum: $207,000This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.Job Responsibilities

  • Leads teams from multiple organizations and/or vendors for system, programmatic or reputed company repairs, investigations or other efforts
  • Expands knowledge in other areas of specialty or discipline, developing breadth or further develops expertise and specialization on one area
  • Evaluates methodologies, best practices, tools, processes, procedures and technology assessing potential fit, benefits, and impacts for assigned workstreams
  • Presents engineering research, findings solutions and recommendations to supervisors
  • Provide training, guidance, instruction and coaching to other Engineers
  • Interprets and applies applicable codes and regulations, policies and procedures
  • Applies knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices in a specific discipline, field or area of expertise to resolve reputed company problems
  • Completes assignments of broad scope and complexity with few precedents or standards and assignments that require integration of information from a variety of sources
  • Takes ownership of problems and their solutions
  • Stand on-call for transmission pipeline or station incidents during off-hours
Qualifications-Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Oil or gas experience (transmission) with design, maintenance, construction and/or operations
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Desired
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Has a solid understanding of the asset functions including threats and risks for their workstream with ability to predict unforeseen outcomes
  • Ability to organize and present information and recommendations to various leaders
  • Advanced Knowledge of applicable engineering principles, codes,
  • regulations, policies and procedures reputed company to the industry and PG&E
  • Creativity and innovation skills
  • Ability to work independently under limited direction and guidance
