You will be responsible for hiring & leading teams of engineers and for driving innovation in the Cloudera Data Engineering product area. Cloudera Data Engineering is the next generation cloud-native service that helps our customers run large-scale data engineering workflows made up of industry standard big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Airflow with just a few clicks on both on-premises and public-cloud environments.As the Director Engineering, you will…Be responsible for all the teams that collectively develop & maintain these cloud-native services for various environments.You will directly manage a team of senior engineers and managers who run their own teams. The team spans across the globe working in several timezones. Many of the engineers are deeply involved in open source projects and communities like Apache Software Foundation.You will have both technical ownership and people management responsibilities of the team.
