In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying high-impact partnership opportunities, managing and scaling relationships with external organizations and individuals, and aligning channel sales initiatives with broader company goals.   • Build and manage strategic partnerships with external organizations and independent sales representatives to drive revenue growth and expand the company's indirect sales network.
  • Identify and pursue new partner opportunities, generating qualified leads and fostering strong business development pipelines through third-party channels.
  • Support and enable indirect sales reps by providing training, resources, and strategic guidance to help them generate leads and close deals effectively.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with business objectives and create mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Step into close client opportunities when partners secure initial meetings but need additional support to convert leads into customers.
  • Track and report on partner performance, delivering insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to optimize channel effectiveness.
  • Cultivate long-term, high-impact relationships with partners to ensure ongoing engagement, satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.
  • Travel up to 25-50% as needed to meet with partners, support field efforts, and strengthen relationships with prospects and channel collaborators.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas by acquiring new clients through partner-driven opportunities and independently closing new business.
  • Personally close at least two accounts within the first year to gain firsthand knowledge of the company's solutions and sales processes.
Qualifications for this role:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Location: Must be based in or near Springfield, MO-this is an in-office role and not eligible for remote work.
  • Experience: Demonstrated success in sales, channel/indirect sales, partnership development, or business development roles.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive partnerships.
  • Strategic & Results-Oriented: A big-picture thinker who is focused on driving revenue and delivering measurable results.
  • Independent & Adaptable: Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experienced with CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Driven & Goal-Focused: Self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a performance-driven, target-based setting.
