We're looking for a multifaceted IT Solutions & Delivery Engineer to help drive transformative IT projects from concept to completion in a collaborative and dynamic environment.In this hybrid role based near Ballston Spa, NY, you'll split your time between shaping technology solutions and directly delivering them. You'll work closely with solution architects during the planning phase-defining scope, estimating resources, and developing technical proposals-and serve as a project engineer during execution. This position blends strategic thinking, technical depth, and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless service delivery and satisfied stakeholders.Responsibilities of the IT Solutions & Delivery Engineer will include:

• Partner with solution architects to define project scope, create bills of materials, and support pre-sales efforts through customer-facing presentations and consultations.
• Actively participate in IT project delivery, working alongside project managers to implement enterprise-class solutions.
• Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructure, including VMware vSphere environments, ESXi hosts, and Veeam backup solutions.
• Lead migrations and ongoing administration of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Implement, support, and migrate Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Active Directory services.
• Configure and maintain enterprise storage solutions (e.g., HPE Nimble/Alletra, Pure Storage).
• Support Meraki networking infrastructure including wireless and switching components.
• Execute server hardening, patching, clustering, and physical-to-virtual (P2V) migrations.
• Document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Provide high-level technical support and act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure services.

Job RequirementsQualifications of the IT Solutions & Delivery Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field-or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in systems administration and enterprise IT delivery.
• Proficient with networking technologies, routing/switching, and firewall configuration.
• Strong foundation in IT security practices and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills-written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Datto backup appliances and Cisco/Dell server hardware.
• Scripting ability in PowerShell and/or Python.
• Industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, Azure/AWS certifications.
