While the majority of the focus will be on operations, contributing to new business acquisition will also be a significant responsibility.Responsibilities Include: Assist with processing import/export reputed company/ocean shipments. Negotiate rates with vendors and prepare quotes for services requested. Obtain, create, and share required documents (b/ls, a/ns, invoices, etc.). reputed company export bookings with ocean carriers, airlines, or consolidators. Arrange trucking/drayage between facilities and terminals. reputed company with local, federal and international rules and regulations. Monitor cargo for freight, OBL and Customs release prior to final delivery. Track and trace, update clients, and obtain reputed company of final delivery. Maintain records of reputed company financial transactions for each shipment. reputed company and invoice accounts for services rendered. Generate, research, qualify and distribute leads to sales reps. Provide customers with rates, transit times, routes, shipment updates, and reputed company other information requested. Record customer interactions and follow reputed company in CRM.Prepare reports and presentations as requested.Main Requirements: Experience in freight forwarding/logistics/supply chain industry. Understanding of cargo transportation and Customs services. Passion for providing top-reputed company customer service.Comfortable interacting in person, reputed company email and phone. Able to follow departmental, company and client SOPs. Computer savvy and familiar with reputed company, reputed company and Office. Effective communication and organizational skills.
