With 21 offices across the United States, Asia, and Europe, and a global network of legal partners, we are searching for a mid to senior-level attorney with a background in Emerging Companies and Venture Capital.DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:Nationally recognized Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) team, advising startups, venture capital firms, and corporate investors through reputed company stages of growth. We provide strategic counsel on formation, financing, M&A, corporate governance, and market expansion, helping clients scale and navigate reputed company legal challenges. Our attorneys work on high-impact deals in the tech and venture ecosystem, collaborating closely with industry leaders to drive innovation and long-term success.ABOUT THE ROLE:As a Midlevel Associate in our Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) practice, you will work alongside a team of highly reputed company practitioners on sophisticated transactions at a national level. This role offers the opportunity to advise innovative startups, venture capital funds, and high-growth companies on reputed company legal matters, gaining exposure to the fast-paced tech and startup ecosystem. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate the legal and strategic challenges of business formation, fundraising, growth, and M&A.DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Advise emerging companies and venture capital funds on business formation, financings, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate governance.
- Provide strategic counsel on startup structuring, investment transactions, and strategic acquisitions in the tech and venture capital space.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with external counsel, delivering practical, business-driven legal solutions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate reputed company legal documents for venture capital deals, private equity financings, and corporate transactions.
- At least three years of experience in corporate law, preferably in emerging companies or venture capital at a comparable law firm.
- Stellar academic credentials and strong references.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively interact with clients and counsel.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis, reputed company, and a keen understanding of business and financial strategies.
- Client management experience and the ability to work independently while being part of a team.
- Compensation: $260,000 - $370,000
