You possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with others in a fast-paced team environment. You should enjoy welcoming guests to our establishment and guiding them to an appropriate table, ensuring that it is cleared, and clean. Make sure there are enough seats for everyone. You’ll need a friendly, courteous manner to answer phone calls and make accurate reservations for guests. • Monitor the dining room for tidiness, ensure all tables and chairs are organized, and that condiments are restocked when needed
• Welcome all diners with a friendly attitude to create an excellent first impression
• Guide diners to their seats and make sure everyone has the correct number of menus, utensils, napkins, and filled water glasses
• Respond to questions about the menu and memorize the daily specials whenever needed
• Handle booking of reservations, be quick to solve seating problems, and troubleshoot any phone inquiries from customers

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
• Adapt easily to working in a fast-paced team environment with long hours of standing on feet and moving around
• Some restaurant, hospitality, and/or food services industry experience is preferred
• This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language
